Why "Successful Intelligence" is vital?
The American Council On Education stresses the emergence of a new neccessary product of academia. Our educational institutions need to produce a lively, growing, adaptable graduate who is well developed in all aspects of a working context! Not only technical skills are required; but internal qualities which produce personal and professional growth. Furthermore, there needs to be a social consciousness that enhances ones contributions to the whole organization.
This continues to be the "number one" need from the business community's stand point! Once viewed as "soft-skills", now they are essential threads to be woven into the inner fabric of our graduates! These qualities can, and should be, cultivated within our present work-force. Yet they also become qualities we look for in our enlisting of new employees.
Human resource departments are to fullfill an ever-increasing, essential function: Cultivating a "Human Capital" value system! However, this must not be a mere concept. The value of Human Capital is to be measured and strengthened within our organization: regardless of its size.
We provide a variety of avenues for the development and nurture of "Successful Intelligence."
